The guide and check rail system from RAILONE is a solution specifically developed for heavy-load traffic (32.5 t) and is currently used with sleeper types AR 06 and AR 17 deployed on the Arabian Peninsula. The guide system protects the rail from climbing and prevents derailments in tight curves, while the check rail system keeps the train on the track after a derailment and prevents collisions with surrounding technical installations. The sleepers have four or eight additional anchor bolts for subsequent attachment of the system. The difference between the guide rail system (80 mm) and the check rail system (180 mm) lies in the flange width, i.e. the horizontal distance to the adjacent running rail. The system consists of cast iron brackets GRT 1/GRT 2 for fastening 33C1 rails using special T-head bolts, coil springs and nuts; the check rail profiles are equipped with catch devices at the ends.
