For hard-to-access track sections, such as in tunnels, RAILONE has developed an ideal drivability solution that allows emergency vehicles to reach the accident site more quickly. The precast concrete slabs close the roadway with a level surface at the height of the rail top. The system is designed so that one element fills the space between the two running rails and between the running rail and the walkway respectively. Positional stability is ensured without additional fixation solely by the self-weight and aerodynamic design of the underside. Since the roadway system is not placed directly on the trackway but is precisely fitted to the desired height on-site using leveling pads of cement mortar, RAILONE's rescue route system is suitable for virtually all trackway systems.
