Metro lines, especially in older existing tunnels, often have to be built within confined cross-sections. This requires sleepers – in both track and turnout – with a low height profile. For exactly these application areas, RAILONE has developed a sleeper that is constructed very flat, similar to a wooden sleeper, while simultaneously meeting all other requirements of tram and metro operations. It can furthermore be adapted and equipped for existing components such as conductor rail brackets, wheel guides or derailment devices.
