Das System RHEDA CITY basiert auf einem einfachen, einheitlichen Aufbau aus zwei Hauptkomponenten, die je nach Anwendung angepasst und ergänzt werden können. Diese klare Struktur erleichtert Planung, Bau und Ausschreibung für Verkehrsbetriebe.

Die zentralen Systembestandteile sind:

  • Zweiblockschwellen mit Gitterträgerbewehrung: einfache, wirtschaftliche und präzise Fixierung der Schienen während Montage, Bau und Betrieb.
  • Lastabtragende Fahrbahnplatte aus Ortbeton: Aufnahme der Verkehrs- und Schienenlasten sowie hohe Anpassungsfähigkeit, besonders im beengten innerstädtischen Umfeld.

On the basis of this structure, the system can be adapted to virtually all grooved and Vignole rail profiles, gauges and fastening systems; continuous rail support is also possible. For embedded tracks, rail encasements and various groove-filling elements can be used depending on requirements, thereby also meeting high demands for stray current and noise protection. RHEDA CITY also offers solutions for turnouts of various designs as well as special applications, such as multi-gauge systems. For sensitive inner-city areas, the system can furthermore be configured as a mass-spring system with elastic mounting of the concrete slab in order to specifically reduce noise and vibration emissions.
